Those who know cricket will be aware of the fielding position called "Silly Mid On". Close to the batsman, requiring very good reflexes and always at risk of being struck by the ball off the bat. This first release of "Silly Mid On" Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon is a blend of three components; Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc (45.5%), Clare Valley Sauvignon Blanc (28.6%) and Clare Valley Semillon (25.9%). This wine combines the cut grass and tropical fruit flavors of Sauvignon Blanc with the subtle citrus and lime of Semillon.

This wine is a brilliant pale straw in color, with enticing aromas of cut grass, lychees and Chinese fruits. The flavours are zesty and refreshing, full of tropical fruit, with hints of lime, citrus and lychees. The palate shows excellent length and a crisp finish.

Great spring and summer, dinner party wine. Try with seafood and salads.
