Drylands Winery has long been the ‘pick of Marlborough’ for wine aficionados. Drylands is the Marlborough Winery of Nobilo Wine Group, the home of the Drylands Vineyard and the Drylands brand. Originally a small winery, recent significant improvements have grown Drylands to an impressive 14,000 tonne state-of-the-art winery capable of handling large volumes as well as "boutique" parcels. The wine is deep crimson in colour with brilliant clarity, offering a bouquet of ripe cherry fruit.

The palate displays delicacy and finesse, with lifted, sweet fruit complemented by French oak complexities. Black cherry and plum flavours are layered with earthy, gamey characteristics and a touch of spice. The tannins are soft and smooth, lingering on the palate in a spicy finish. Enjoyable on its own, you can also match it with mildly seasoned chicken, pork, turkey and fish, or with vegetarian dishes. Try it with Indian cuisine as well.
