For around a century and a half the name and history of the Stucchi Prinetti family has been linked with Badia a Coltibuono Three years ago, a new winery was constructed to be not only technologically advanced but also to have a sound environmental impact. The new winery makes use of highly advanced vinification technologies selected with the objective of producing wines of high quality in the simplest but most efficient way possible.

Cancelli is made from a blend of 70% Sangiovese and 30% Syrah. Very pleasing when young, it has great potential for improvement with cellaring. This blend of grape varieties was specifically developed to obtain a quality wine suitable for everyday use. The grape selection takes place in vineyards that are most suited to the production of young wines. It is intense ruby-red in color with violet hues. It has a fresh aroma of berries with a peppery note. On the palate it is supple and velvety with good structure and moderate acidity. A smash hit for Coltibuono and an everyday wine for the dinner table.
