We had the pleasure of visiting this small, family owned winery in Napa Valley's historic Rutherford appellation in early November. The staff was like one big family such that you couldn't really tell who was and who wasn't. We have featured other wines by WhiteHall and now we are excited to be able to offer this merlot.

The Merlot grapes that make up this blend were all harvested by hand at the end of September and first week of October 2003. The wine is mediumbodied with aromas of spice, plum, violets and toasty oak. The wine is inherently soft and delivers silky flavors of blackberry, fig and plum. It is pleasantly balanced with good weight in the mid-palate and enough tannin for a velvety, lingering finish. Enjoy now!!
