Catherine and Didier Champalou are young growers in Vouvray who, since 1984 have assembled a small domaine with vines averaging 25 years, planted solely with Chenin Blanc. The aim is to bring out the maximum expression of character from the grape while reflecting the different terroirs on which the vines are planted. Thus by applying rigorous standards, they have created one of the most exciting wineries in Vouvray.
A pale wine, with a lovely green hue and tight bubbles deliver a really penetrating nose of sweet appley fruit and wild flowers. Very fresh and delicate.
