The Spanish words "La Yunta" signify a pair pulling together for a common cause. In this case it signifies the partnership between an Argentinian winemaker and an American wine enthusiasist dedicated to bringing the best of Argentina to the world. This Torrontés, from the Famatina Valley in Argentina, is unbelievably aromatic, with notes of green melon, white peach and balanced citrus flavors. This is one of the most promising white wine varietals in the country. High in acidity and light in body, the La Yunta Torrontés has a lemon-fresh nose and exhibits mineral notes and citrus on the palate. This is an amazing wine in any price range - and this is under $10 a bottle!

The legend of the Coli Wine Cellar originated in 1926, when Piero and Gino Coli began their adventure at the gates of Florence. The Coli brothers decided to seek out and sell the most traditional of wines produced in the Chianti hills: the Chianti and Chianti Classico.

The cellar is located near Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, in the Chianti Classico region nearest Florence, and has recently been renovated with a new bottling plant including a modern, high-tech laboratory with the ability to keep a constant check on the quality of its wine.

The Chianti is a blend of primarily Sangiovese but with with Canaiolo, Trebbiano Bianco and Malvasia del Chianti grapes, this lively medium bodied red has tempting flavors and aromas of cassis, wild berries and just a modicum of spiciness. Ruby red now but look for the wine to darken and for flavors of chocolate to make themselves felt as the wine develops.
